COMPUTERS

Computers are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please visit our front circulation desk to obtain computer access.

  • Patrons are limited to a 60-minute computer session, but if computers are still available and other patrons aren’t waiting for a computer, you may have more than one session.
  • Warren Public Library uses Envisionware, a reservation software, to ensure patron privacy. Upon arriving at the computer, you will be required to scan your library card in order to begin a computer session. Guest passes are available by checking in at the circulation desk.
    • If you need to step away during your session, you may select the “Hide My Screen” option and set a password to leave for up to 5 minutes.
    • At the start of a session, the computer restarts automatically which removes all documents and traces of use. Please bring a flash drive to save any work you may have. Flash drives are also available for purchase at the circulation desk.

PHOTOCOPIER AND PRINTERS

Self serve photocopier services are available on the first floor of the library. The machine has the ability to make either black and white or color copies. Patrons have the ability to scan to email using the photocopier.

Our public computers have the ability to print in black and white or in color.

Prices for printouts and photo copies: 15 cents per page for black and white; 30 cents per page for color.

OUTDOOR WIFI

To help provide Internet access to as many residents as possible we have expanded the outdoor range of our free Wi-Fi. Please practice social distancing and be courteous to your fellow patrons when accessing the network.

In response to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Warren Public Library in coordination with the Information Technology Disaster Resource Center (ITDRC), is offering free boosted WiFi in the Municipal Parking Lot behind the Warren Public Library.

Once you’re in the Municipal Lot, the WiFi connection can be found under the name “Homework Hub.” No password is necessary.
