Some Doors Change Lives. Help Keep Them Open.

For more than 150 years, Warren Public Library has been a place where people come to learn, connect, create, and grow. Every day, children discover new stories, students find resources for success, job seekers access technology, and neighbors gather in a welcoming community space.

Today, we’re asking for your support to help preserve something fundamental to that mission: our exterior doors.

EVERY VISIT starts here

The library’s front and back entry doors were installed in 1985 and are original to that renovation. After more than four decades of daily use, they have reached the end of their functional life. Internal components have worn beyond repair, creating growing concerns related to safety, accessibility, and energy efficiency. Replacing the doors is no longer optional. It is a necessary investment in the future of our library.
In 2025 alone, more than 81,000 visits were made to Warren Public Library. That’s an average of 271 visitors each day we’re open, all relying on safe and accessible entryways to access programs, materials, technology, and services. Maintaining reliable entrances is essential to ensuring every visitor can continue to benefit from everything the library offers.

This Giving Tuesday: $26 for 2026

Help us reach our $5,000 goal for Giving Tuesday by giving $26 for 2026. Your donation will support the replacement of the library’s aging exterior doors, helping ensure that Warren Public Library remains safe, accessible, and welcoming for everyone who walks through them.

The library has committed reserve funds and is pursuing grant support, but community contributions remain essential. Your support will help ensure that Warren Public Library continues to provide a secure and welcoming space for readers, learners, and neighbors for generations to come.

A DOORWAY TO POSSIBILITY

Those doors are more than an entrance to a building.
They are a gateway to knowledge, opportunity, connection, and community.

Together, we can ensure they remain open for everyone.
